Crescent Crossing

Riffing on comments about unruly street folk and if we should give them a stern NIMBY poke.

A pile of bricks sculpted

into a giant hill of beans

tarnished and subjected

to predatory leans —

A convergence of paths —

straight, narrow, curved, and steep —

soaked with blasphemous baths

of non-neighborly bleeps —

A beacon in the fight

between have and have not —

A benchmark in the plight

of tough life lessons taught.
