Public Meeting for Commercial Sewer Users to Discuss:

1) City of Santa Barbara Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) Control Program for Food Service Establishments

Fats, Oils, and Grease (FOG) are one of the leading causes of Sanitary Sewer Overflows and maintenance concerns in sewer systems throughout the United States. Learn how you can do your part to keep FOG out of the City Sewer System.

Commercial Sewer User account representatives and the public are invited to attend a presentation on the City of Santa Barbara FOG Control Program with opportunities for questions and discussion. This presentation will include:

· What is FOG and Why is it a Problem?

· City FOG Program Requirements for Food Service Establishments

2) City of Santa Barbara Commercial Sewer User Rate Changes

The City of Santa Barbara is proposing to modify its Commercial Sewer User classification structure for FY 2015. Commercial Sewer User account representatives and the public are invited to attend a presentation on the City of Santa Barbara’s Cost-of-Service plans associated with the proposed FY 2015 Commercial User Wastewater Fees. This presentation will include:

· Current Commercial User Classification Structures and Fees

· Proposed FY 2015 Commercial User Classification Structures and Fees

· Cost-of-Service Principles and Application in Commercial User Fee Structure

· Future Commercial User Classification Structures and Fees

There will be an opportunity for questions and discussion as an integral part of this presentation.
