Toys for Tots Kicks Off


Those looking to make some little ones’ lives merrier this holiday season can donate toys and/or food at nine Santa Barbara City Fire locations, starting Monday, November 17. The nationwide Toys for Tots program — spearheaded by the U.S. Marine Corps in 1948 — distributes new, unwrapped toys and food products to children in need. Collection boxes will be open at the following locations every day between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m.:

Station 1, 121 West Carrillo Street

Station 2, 819 Cacique Street

Station 3, 415 East Sola Street

Station 4, 19 North Ontare Road

Station 5, 2505 Modoc Road

Station 6, 1802 Cliff Drive

Station 7, 2411 Stanwood Drive

Station 8, 40 Hartley Place

Administration Building, 925 Chapala Street
