Rape Crisis Center Integrity Defended

I have been a volunteer for the Santa Barbara Rape Crisis Center for almost 40 years. This fine organization has served our community with honor and integrity. The staff, advocates, and volunteers are highly trained people who serve survivors of sexual assault with the highest level of professionalism. They care so much about protecting the confidentiality of their clients that they can’t even make a statement defending themselves when someone accuses them of improper behavior, because they will not break that sacred trust.

The Rape Crisis Center will continue to do the work of educating people about sexual assault, and I will continue to volunteer because I want to honor what they do. April is Sexual Assault Awareness month.
