Shoppers, Unite

We, and our children, were very sorry to learn that Haggen market has fired all of its “handicapped” workers since taking over the former Albertsons. We gather that some of those workers had been at Albertsons for eight years before being summarily dismissed because of conditions outside of their control. We were regular shoppers at the Mesa Albertsons, but our children have insisted that we not return until those workers are reinstated. We hope other shoppers will join us. Together we might make a difference in those workers’ lives.
