Waldorf School Moves to Montessori School Campus

Administrators Anticipate New Location Will Attract More Students

Waldorf School of Santa Barbara is moving from Vieja Valley Elementary School to share a campus with Santa Barbara Montessori School located on Mirano Drive in Goleta. Waldorf administrative chair Liz Mocabee said the new campus will allow for more outdoor activities. In the past year, the school struggled financially, but Mocabee said the new location might attract new families. Currently, just fewer than 100 students are enrolled for fall.
