Man Stabbed on Olive Street

Police Say Suspect Still at Large

Early Tuesday afternoon, Santa Barbara police responded to the 1000 block of Olive Street, where a man in his 20s suffered a stab wound to the abdomen. The suspect — whose description is unclear — is at large. According to the Watch Commander, a witness thought the incident was a result of an altercation. It is unclear if the two men knew each other or if the incident is gang related, police said. The victim is in stable condition with his family. Santa Barbara High School, which is nearby, was not on lock-down.
