1/24: High School Soccer: San Marcos at Santa Barbara Saturday will be a long day in this spirited crosstown rivalry. There will be 12 hours of soccer beginning with the girls’ frosh-soph game at 10am. The featured varsity matches will take place under the lights. Santa Barbara’s boys are defending Channel League champions and were ranked No. 4 on last week’s CIF Division 1 poll. The Dons won at San Marcos earlier this month, 3-1. The Royals earned a split when their girls blanked the Dons, 1-0. Girls’ varsity: 5pm; boys’ varsity: 7pm. Peabody Stadium, S.B. High School, 700 E. Anapamu St. Free-$5. Call 966-9101 x5010.
