Thumbs Up on S.B. Weddings

I just read the “Hitched at Home” article, and it couldn’t be more true. In January we had a casual wedding with about 20 friends, many of whom were more than happy to make the trip from Northern California to spend a few days in the beautiful January sunshine of Santa Barbara. We had a great venue aboard the Azure Seas and a beautiful ceremony at sunset out on the ocean officiated by Captain Fred.

Dining with Di provided an amazing appetizer spread aboard the boat, then we all went to Opal Restaurant where we were served a delicious dinner. It was all topped off by a beautiful cake provided by Christine Dahl Pastries. It was one of the most beautiful and definitely the best-tasting cake I had ever had.

Our experience reflected your article all the way down to getting our marriage license. It was such a beautiful setting that we had the clerk take our picture and posted it on Facebook! Everybody gave it a thumbs up!

I got my entire wedding outfit at Tienda Ho and had a special hairdo created by Stancy at Head West. A very Santa Barbara wedding.
