San Marcos High School’s Virtual Enterprise company called Coastal Glass & Creations came in second place at an international web design competition in New York.

In the Global Business Challenge, the students were separated and put into groups with students from eight different countries. From there, the new teams competed to create a presentation about why a corporation dubbed Victorinox should launch a perfume line.

Three San Marcos High School students — Elizabeth Carlos, Armando Chavez, and Marcos Valdivia, Jr. — were among those in six groups that qualified for the championship round.
