Driver Rescued After Plunging 100 Feet Down Embankment

A female driver was rescued and transported to Cottage Hospital this morning after she plunged 100 feet down an embankment at the intersection of Eucalyptus Hill Road and Eucalyptus Hill Drive. The woman, the lone occupant of the vehicle, suffered moderate injuries in the crash, which is being investigated by police. City Fire crews carried out the rescue at around 8:50 a.m. No additional information about the incident was immediately available.
