Chumash and members of other California tribes are planning two panel discussions Saturday at the Unitarian Society, 1535 Santa Barbara Street, at 9:30 a.m. and 1 p.m. An Honoring the Ancestors ceremony is scheduled at the Santa Barbara Mission Sunday at 1 p.m., according to Elias Castillo, author of the book A Cross of Thorns.
