Summerland Fourth-Grader Heads to History Nationals


With a standout performance earlier this week at a Southern California regional, Summerland School fourth-grader Boston Thomas, 10, won an invite to the National History Bee championships this summer in Chicago. Covering American, European, and world history, the final features a head-to-head, Jeopardy-style format, with students buzzing in with answers. Winners receive $2,000 scholarships.
