Two Wanted People Arrested in Santa Maria

Two individuals on the Sheriff’s “Wanted List” — Gabriel Limon, 26, and Jaron Olivas, 25 — were arrested Thursday in the Santa Maria area.

Detectives from the Sheriff’s Special Investigations Bureau and Compliance Response Team found Limon in the Tanglewood neighborhood after he escaped from his electronic monitoring system. Santa Barbara County Air Support and Sheriff’s patrol deputies aided the search at the 1900 block of Elmwood Drive. Once captured, Limon was booked into Santa Barbara County Jail, where his bail was set at $100,000 for attempted escape.

Olivas, who had a warrant out for his arrest, was found the same day at a business in the 1800 block of North Broadway. He was also booked into County Jail with his bail set at $10,000.
