Does anyone else see the hypocrisy of worrying about the preservation of the steelhead, referring to Cachuma as gob of spit, and then having the county approve new housing construction designed to bring hundreds more families and water usage into Santa Barbara/Goleta? Why is the burden of the drought solely on the taxpayers and why are our elected officials and greedy landowners held harmless?
