Cynthia Nixon won a Tony Award for her starring role in Rabb

The Theatre Group at SBCC is looking to cast roles — three women, two men — for its upcoming production of Rabbit Hole, the Pulitzer Prize–winning play by David Lindsay-Abaire. The drama, which explores a family’s reaction to the tragic loss of their 4-year-old boy, ran on Broadway in 2006, earning star Cynthia Nixon a Tony Award for Best Performance by a Leading Actress. In 2010, Nicole Kidman starred in the film adaptation. Auditions take place at SBCC’s Jurkowitz Theatre on Wednesday-Thursday, February 1-2, 6:30-9:30 p.m.; callbacks are Wednesday, February 8; rehearsals begin Thursday, February 16; and the play runs April 12-29. Auditions are by appointment only; call Christina Frank at 965-0581 x2376 or email her at cmfrank1@pipeline.sbcc.edu. For more information, see theatregroupsbcc.com.
