Bronx Hospital Shooter Has Santa Barbara Ties

It turns out that Dr. Henry Bello, the New York gunman who opened fire inside a Bronx hospital on 6/30, killing a female doctor and wounding six, had declared bankruptcy in Santa Barbara in 2000. Records indicate that Bello — who had a long history of financial and emotional volatility — had lived in California from 1991 to 2006. After moving to New York, Bello was the focus of sexual harassment complaints and widespread concern about overly aggressive behavior.
