On Saturday, February 24, Santa Barbara Young Black Professionals (SBYBP) hosted a pop-up art exhibit of local Black artists from 5 to 9 p.m. at Paseo Nuevo (storefront #203, next to See’s Candy). Works on display were by local black artists, who were present for inquiries and art purchases. Black Art Now was also planned to advocate for Black History Month. Hors d’oeuvres, wine, and music were provided.

Earlier in the day, SBYBP hosted DJ group Comfort Food for a music production workshop from 1 to 3 p.m. at the pop-up gallery, for current and aspiring songwriters, beat makers, and music producers.
