Robert Zeavin

1951 - 2010, Santa Barbara

June 27, 1951 - July 29, 2010

Robert Zeavin died on the evening of Thursday, July 29 in Salt Lake City following a heart attack. He was 59.

A fanatically devoted father, and an equally dedicated friend, Bob was also a renowned advocate: As a partner at Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, he co-chaired the national trial group, and co-led the trial team that won the country's largest verdict of 2008.

Still, Bob's real loves were his late wife, Yadi, his daughters, Hadley and Georgia, World Cup soccer, wine, food, friends and fun. Survived by his daughters, his brother, Michael, and sister, Lynne, he will be lovingly remembered at a Memorial Celebration at Elings Park, Santa Barbara, on August 15 at 1PM. No black clothing, please. (Hats and comfortable shoes suggested.)

In lieu of flowers, remembrance contributions are welcome at Susan G. Komen for the Cure, P.O. Box 650309, Dallas, Texas 75265.
