Harold "Had" Taggart Murray Millikin

1922 - 2010, Santa Barbara

Harold Taggart Murray Millikin, born October 2, 1922, in New York City died in Santa Barbara surrounded by loving family on September 6, 2010.

Had graduated from Kenyon College, served in the United States Military in World War II and the Korean war, and followed up with a successful career as an advertising executive with the following companies: Westclox, Needham Harper & Steers, S&H and Family Circle Magazine.

Had was married to Dorenda Penfield Millikin (deceased in 1996) and raised their family in Peru, Illinois and then Winnetka, Illinois, where he was an avid curler, golfer and an active member of Christ Church. He later married his long time friend Claire Cruttendon (deceased 2001) in Newport Beach, CA. Had is survived by his three devoted children Rendy, Anne, and David, and their families.
