Patricia Ann Everett passed away in Santa Barbara, CA on April 27, 2011. Patricia was surrounded by her family during her final hours and passed peacefully at home. She was born to Anita and Howard Royer in Scotia, NE on July 21, 1931. She is survived by her husband of 58 years, Eugene Everett, MD, her daughters Jana Colbourne of Placitas, NM and Teresa Everett of Santa Barbara and their families. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Gabriel Franklin of Breckenridge, CO, Lindsey Everett and Lauren Everett of Santa Barbara, CA, her great-grandchildren Noah and Nash Franklin of Breckenridge, CO. She was predeceased by her children Stephen Everett and Gina Everett.

Patricia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She loved the Colorado mountains and the beaches of Hawaii and Santa Barbara, CA. Gene and Pat lived in Santa Barbara while raising their four children from 1963 until moving to Breckenridge CO in 1994. They resided in Breckenridge for eight years and were active members of St. John’s Episcopal Church there before returning to Santa Barbara in 2001. Pat also wanted to thank all her friends from her favorite restaurants where she enjoyed so many wonderful meals – The Beachside Café, Max’s Restaurant and Louie’s.

A memorial service in celebration of Patricia’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011 at 10:00 am at McDermott-Crockett Mortuary Chapel at 2020 Chapala Street in Santa Barbara.
