Jesus Garcia was born on July 7, 1965 in Guerrero, Mexico. As a boy he loved to play soccer and ride his bicycle on the beach.
In 1990 he came to Santa Barbara. He was a good friend, brother, son, a favorite uncle, and a wonderful, caring person. He enjoyed helping people and they often turned to him for advice. He will be remembered as always having a smile on his face.
Jesus was a hard-working man, having worked over the years at the Red Lion Hotel on banquets, then becoming a kitchen supervisor. His most recent jobs were in painting and gardening.
Jesus will always be in our hearts and prayers. We miss him very much!
A memorial fund has been set up for the family at Santa Barbara Bank and Trust under his name, Jesus Garcia.
