Michael George Stevens

Michael George Stevens was born August 7, 1944 to George and Virgie Stevens of Spokane, Washington. He passed away suddenly, but peacefully on Monday, September 7, 2009, accompanied by his wife and daughter. His great love of life and spirit of exploration guided him always.

His life was spent in the pursuit of spiritual knowledge and wisdom. His career as a worker’s compensation lawyer spanned thirty years, but he always longed to be involved in healing work, which he began doing as an occupation during the last few years.

While both of his career paths gave him great satisfaction, he was never happier than when he was spending time with his family.

He loved reading, taking walks in nature, and visiting historical sites. He was a kind and generous man and will be greatly missed by his mother (Virgie), his wife (Patricia Hannah), his son (Garrett), his daughters (Irene and Stephanie), his daughter and son in law (Wendy and Laurent), and his grandchildren (Ava and Gavin) and many other friends and family members.

A memorial service will be held for him at 4pm on Saturday, September 19th at the Oak Grove in Ojai, CA to celebrate his life. Please do not feel obligated to wear black. You may RSVP and obtain directions by emailing: wendyhstevens@yahoo.com
