The view from the Santa Barbara Courthouse tower was terrifying Tuesday afternoon. Hands-down the biggest smoke plume we have seen since the Zaca Fire began in early July, the billowing cloud was caused by a patch of previously unburned wilderness – located well behind containment lines near Little Pine Mountain – being engulfed by flames.
