HOMEGROWN: Reuben Irvin and Louis Lancaster founded Santa Barbara National Bank on March 18, 1960, at 20 East Carrillo Street with 18 employees. The third founder, Ralph Raddue, started the trust side of the bank, which was renamed Santa Barbara Bank & Trust in 1979.
