Bishop Diego High’s Cardinals began to light up the scoreboard at Carpinteria Valley Memorial Stadium last Friday night as Nolan Tooley crossed the goal line after receiving a 27-yard pass from Anthony Carter. The Cardinals defeated the Carpinteria Warriors, 39-22, in their annual “Little Big Game.” Carter, a junior quarterback, was named the GI Forum Most Valuable Player.
