SAFE, SANE, AND SAVING MONEY: Since 1941, a system of wells, compressors, and pipes have been used to store billions of cubic feet of natural gas in a rocky reservoir deep beneath the earth near Goleta Beach, and the Southern California Gas Company now wants to expand in order to save even more money for its customers.
