The film will tell the story of two very different men, a rock star and an old country priest, who have long shared a commitment to preserve Santa Cruz Island, the largest of California's eight Channel Islands. Monsignor Francis Weber and musician Joe Walsh have dedicated themselves to protecting the vision of Carey Stanton, who owned and protected the island from 1957 until his death in 1987. In the film, Walsh says, "I told Carey, we've got his back. We'll watch out for Santa Cruz after he's gone." And these two men have done just that. Ñ with Joe Walsh.
