A 5:40 a.m. view of the Super Blue Blood moon in Santa Barbara. This astronomical hat trick is a combination of the full moon being at it's closest distance to the earth (super moon), the second full moon on one month (blue moon), and the moon being shadowed from the sun by the Earth, giving it a reddish tint (blood moon).
