Like Kinko’s, Rusty’s is a chain business that began in the unlikely, super-turbulent time/space nexus called Isla Vista, 1969. There are now eight area locations, two of which happen to be rare examples of vernacular architecture in this Mission revival forced-march town — an authentic pub on Carrillo Street and a faux lighthouse on Cabrillo Boulevard near the pier. This place has consistently served piping hot pies, with a good variety of toppings (from anchovies to zucchini), and it’s also fast and reliable from store to door.

Rusty's Pizza Parlors

232 W. Carrillo St., Santa Barbara, 805-564-1111

What We Are All About... In 1969 Rusty's began in the community of Isla Vista. Within three years, the locations on Milpas and State Street were added, followed closely by Carrillo, Fairview and Carpinteria. The 90's was a busy decade for Rusty's. We opened Storke Road in Goleta and Rusty's on Turnpike Road in 1994. 2002 marks the opening of Rusty's newest location on the waterfront across from Stearns Wharf. All Rusty's locations are locally owned and operated. Rusty's is one call, one phone number away with our One Number-Order System. Dial 564-1111 and let us WOW! you with our great pizza, great people and great service.

A Sense of Community... Since its beginning, Rusty's has been involved in the community with a strong emphasis on children through school programs and youth organizations. Rusty's also provides jobs for well over three hundred employees, ranging from part-time first jobs for students, to jobs with skills in management and supervision. We provide ongoing training at all levels and company-wide training for every position.

Come On In... Rusty's offers rooms for business meetings, gatherings, birthdays and casual get-togethers. Just call in advance and we will reserve an area for you at no charge. We are then able to provide you with personalized service and great food! The Webb Room at State St. and our two upstairs rooms at Rusty's Carrillo have been favorite meeting places for many Santa Barbara groups over the years. Enjoy the beautiful banking decor at Storke Rd. and have lunch in the bank vault or have your next meeting in our large private room. Our newest location at the Lighthouse across from Stearns Wharf, provides a private fireplace room perfect for your next event by the beach. Most stores have large screen TVs and Video Games. Because of our love for children, our managers will be happy to arrange a group to tour the pizza making process, including making their own pizza to enjoy after the tour.
