The politicians always extort more money from people by threatening to cut police and fire services. They NEVER say there is a budget shortfall so we will have to let consultants and administrators go and no more $600,000 bathrooms for the homeless to mess up.

When the SEIU starts giving up some of their excessive pay and benefits I'll ask the police unions to do the same thing. The SEIU gives the local corrupt democrat politicians more money so that will never happen.

The last county contract 'saved' money by giving their employees a week off but no pay increase. In real world speak that means the taxpayers got screwed for 2.3% less work.

You cannot make this up.
