Regarding Prop 8, California’s gay marriage ban, the U.S. Supremes will

establish same-sex marriage as a constitutional right. 25% 34 votes
rule that Californians have the right to make a law banning gay marriage. 22% 30 votes
say Prop 8 proponents are not harmed parties so they have no standing to appeal the lower court decision invalidating the ban. 32% 44 votes
punt by ruling on some other technicality. 20% 27 votes
135 total votes

Interesting spread of votes on this. Kinda indicates that, as a group, we have no idea what they'll do.

Funny how no one wants the government to interfere with their right to religion, but don't mind when it buts in on marriage. Or on the other hand, don't want God in the government by trying to ban anything with his mention, but want them to side on their side. I believe everyone has forgotten two words- mutual respect.
