OK, so who's your choice?

A female is running against a good ole boy whose department was in the headlines recently for a sexting calamity and yet not a peep from the liberal progressives lining up to hear Gloria Steinem... Doesn't seem odd at all does it?

So I guess the best man for the job is a woman.

Hey, the 9th Circus Court, normally considered the most leftwing in the country, just overturned California's requirement that good cause be shown to get a concealed carry permit. Schizophrenia reigns.

careful, JL, you've struggled before with this "most leftwing" epithet in the past, remember?! How about, the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals (maybe show a bit of respect for your government, eh?) thoughtfully overturned a Calif. gun control law -- why don't you salute them, gunnie, be happy, and admit how INCORRECT your designation "most leftwing" actually was?! I am not surprised; but I will be surprised if you can "hear" this. Just so "Locked-in" all the time!

A woman like Lucy Van Pelt or Lucy Lawless would be my first choice. But as long as she can keep her chin up after that low density slap in the face....

(Remember the 6 million worth of upkeep to this "crown jewel" monstrosity from which low density and water waste reigns!)
What are we? "Keeping up with the Obama's"

Jerry Brown.

Lucy Van Pelt, or Sally Brown?

The jail situation has deteriorated and is merciless and the only solution is to build a new one? That, with no guarantee that things will be better, nor any investment in rehab or prevention?

Sorry, Bill.

DrDan, the 9th Circus (intentional insult) has long been considered the leftwing Circuit court of the country and is the most overturned of them all. Last time I read this was a year or so ago in the LA Times - don't have the exact date. I am quite happy with their pro-2nd amendment decision, and immensely surprised - totally out of character for them. In terms of respect, in my world it must be earned - they have a way to go yet.

I wonder how that will affect the Inner City (LA) statues of Gun Prohibition (except for Gang-Bangers), concealed weapons in the State trumps City or County unless your on the receiving end of a nervous young police officer's gun, then its at the mercy of a trigger-happy cop.

touristunfriendly - the Indy hasn't published any groupthink about the sheriff''s race yet, and it's not something most Indy readers would consider independently.
