For my part, there's a much bigger selection on Amazon than Netflix. I joined Netflix last week and then terminated when the movies I wanted were not available.

I agree ahem but I still use Netflix because their inventory of really good foreign films and shows is not bad for $8 per month.

Ahem - the movies you want (presumably new releases) will be available on Netflix sometime within the next 6 months to a year. Amazon is best for new releases. I like Netflix though because I can turn on subtitles and, with a puppy and 2 young boys in the house, that's the only way I can enjoy a movie most nights!

Bittorrent is virus filled theft. Don't compain about crap mainstream films then rob indie artists via piracy.

Yeah I'm a chump because I believe artists deserve compensation for their work. So when you coming over to mow my lawn and not your usual sloppy job.

Torrents and the drive-in
If you feel artists deserve compensation, then what is stopping you from giving it to them? There are tons of artists who have music available that you can download for free or make a donation. They want you to listen to their music so that you will come to one of their live shows, that is how most musicians make their money anyway. The album sales largely go to the record producer.
Movie producers can release movies to theaters only and have them sign a contract not to distribute the film, then they can release it to the general public via a download site and charge or give it away or ask for donations.
No reason why government tyranny needs to run the industry, in fact that is what has been pushing out talented small time indy artists all these years and what has been artificially propping up the major motion picture and music companies.
The new model that is coming about is much more friendly to indy artists, it is way easier for them to be discovered these days via youtube, soundcloud, etc.. People like them, they develop a fanbase and they can attract people to their shows or get them locked into a youtube channel or something along those lines which can also be highly profitable.
The new model is not going away, in fact the major corporations are slowly embracing it and slowly losing their monopoly over the industry and that is why they fund groups like the RIAA. They are scared of losing control. They aren't funding the RIAA to fight for independent artists, if you think so then you've gotta be batshit.

Speaking of Independent film makers, David Crowley and his entire family were recently murdered in a hit job for attempting to produce an anti-government film called Grey State.

He was about to receive $30 million to create a final release before the murders took place.
Just thought everybody should know, since the mainstream media won't be reporting on it.
When you're sitting in a FEMA concentration camp, remember, people tried to warn you before it was too late.
