State Street Flags: United Way

United Way
Santa Barbara, CA, August 12, 2014 - The blue and white flags you will see along State Street between August 21 and August 29, 2014 are sponsored by United Way of Santa Barbara County (UWSBC). The flag’s design is a depiction of a man, woman and child representing the families in the community that are supported and uplifted by United Way’s efforts.

Since 1923, UWSBC has provided Santa Barbara County children, families and seniors with community services and resources, while building a longstanding reputation as the community’s leading fundraiser. Today, UWSBC has transformed into an organization that builds partnerships and delivers direct service to accomplish more than any one person or organization can do alone. Through 30 strategic partnerships and more than 150 public and private partners and organizations, UWSBC focuses on improving education, financial stability and health in Santa Barbara County.

Each dollar you contribute is a solid investment in the health and vitality of all people in our community. To learn more about United Way collaborations, please call 965-8591 or go to
