Award-Winning Radio Host John Henigin

Brings His Talents Home to Santa Barbara with Cork and Fork Radio

SANTA BARBARA, CA — John Henigin, host of the award-winning nationally syndicated radio

talk show Fish Talk Radio, has raised the talk-radio bar with his newer show, Cork and Fork Radio,

a regional show that explores the wonderful world of Central Coast food and wine in a unique,

entertaining, and engaging format and airs live every Friday afternoon on KZSB-AM 1290 at noon,

with a rebroadcast on Friday at 10pm and Sunday at 5pm.

“Cork and Fork Radio is about the how and why of food and wine on the Central Coast,” said

Henigin. “If you want to know how to make award-winning wine or beer, or what sulfites are and

whether or not they are good for you, you’ll find that on our show.” Cork and Fork Radio attracts

the area’s top chefs, winemakers, beer masters, restaurateurs, bakers, oenologists, and farmers as

guests to promote their products and reveal how top-notch artisan food and wine is made. “In fact,”

said Henigin, “one winemaker even revealed to me that he requires his staff to listen to the show so

that they would be more informed about the industry.”

There’s no question that Henigin’s show has carved out a niche for itself on the Central Coast. Cork

and Fork Radio has recently reached an agreement with KUHL-AM 1440 in Santa Maria and San

Luis Obispo, with their strong signal the show reaches our “foodie” listeners as far north as Paso

Robles, the show airs on Saturdays at 1pm; Finding past shows and current shows are easy to do by

going to the Cork and Fork Radio website and click on the listen to tab, which means sponsors get

their messages out to their targeted local audience.
