Los Agaves Hosts First Anniversary Fiesta at De La Vina Location

Santa Barbara, CA. June 2014 – Felicidades! Los Agaves is thrilled to announce the one-year anniversary of their De La Vina location. To commemorate a successful first year open, Los Agaves hosted a summer fiesta celebration on Tuesday, June 17 from 5-7pm. Los Agaves invited loyal patrons from the Santa Barbara community for an evening of delicious authentic Mexican dishes, live music by the talented flamenco guitarist Chris Fossek, beer and local wines, and good cheer.

“We are very happy that we have had a great first year at our De La Vina location,” said Carlos Luna, owner of Los Agaves. “We work really hard to provide a unique menu that continues to offer fresh new menu items daily along with our traditional favorites. We look forward to celebrating many years with our valued customers.”

Los Agaves celebrates the true flavors of Mexico, bringing traditional Mexican culture to every bite of their cuisine. Signature dishes include their savory Chiles Norteños stuffed with shrimp and Oaxaca cheese, topped with chipotle dressing, served with rice and beans and a house salad; Agaves Enchiladas with fresh halibut and shrimp; the tender Carne Azteca accompanied with stuffed Anaheim peppers, grilled nopalito, and chorizo; among many more favorites. Owner Carlos Luna opened his first location on Milpas Street on Santa Barbara’s East Side in 2008. Los Agaves quickly gained fame with locals and visitors alike, taking the title as “Best Mexican Restaurant in Santa Barbara” in 2013. Everything guests loved about the Mexican restaurant’s original location on Milpas can be found at the De La Vina location: the salsa bar, fresh made-to-order Mexican favorites, ice-cold cervezas, and more, including a front outdoor patio.
