FOURTH OF JULY CELEBRATION AT CENTENNIAL PARK
LOMPOC, CALIF. - The third annual Fourth of July celebration will begin at 11:30 A.M., Friday, July 4th, 2014 at Centennial Park in downtown Lompoc.
This free event, hosted by the Lompoc Valley Chamber of Commerce Military Affairs Committee, will include a patriotic sidewalk parade and old fashioned picnic in Centennial Park.
Parade gathering time is 11:15 a.m. at the Veterans Memorial Building parking lot (corner of Locust and south H Streets). Bikes, strollers, wagons, moms and dads are all welcome to participate in the parade on South H St. from Locust to Cypress.
The picnic, at Centennial Park (corner of H Street and Cypress), begins at high noon with an official event opening featuring city and chamber of commerce leaders.
Entertainment scheduled from noon until 1:30 will feature music for Brass Quintet, an Ensemble of the Lompoc Pops Orchestra..
Bring your lawn chairs, blankets your family and your lunch or buy delicious traditional hotdogs, cooked by members of the Sons of the American Legion, Squadron #125, from noon until 1:30 p.m.
The Lompoc Museum will hold a patriotic party on the lawn complete with games and bounce house. Popcorn and water will be available for purchase at the museum.
Please leave your pets at home and join in celebration of our nation’s birthday at the Third Annual Centennial Park Fourth of July Celebration.
