$30,000 Available for Youth-Led Projects!
Youth Making Change Announces the 2014-2015 Grant Cycle
The Fund for Santa Barbara’s Youth Making Change (YMC) program is a year-long, youth-led grant-making program that provides young people with the opportunity to engage directly in organized philanthropy. Youth ages 13 to 19 are recruited annually to join the YMC Boards. Each YMC Board (one in Santa Maria and one in Santa Barbara) then conducts a grant-making program and distributes a total of $15,000 in grants of various sizes (up to $3,500) to youth-led projects that address issues and challenges directly affecting young people in Santa Barbara County.
The Youth Making Change grant application is available now for download in English and Spanish from the Fund for Santa Barbara website (www.fundforsantabarbara.org/youth.php) or by visiting the Fund offices:
