PRESS RELEASE / ANNOUNCEMENTS Tuesday, September 30, 2014

CMC Rescue, Inc.

CMC Rescue’s new headquarters ribbon cutting will feature Lois Capps, Michael Bennett, Das Williams, and other state and local officials, fire, SWAT and rescue groups.

CMC Rescue, Inc. is a Goleta based employee-owned business that has, for the last 36 years, grown into the global leader in research, design, testing and manufacturing of search and rescue equipment. CMC equipment is used by most local, state and federal agencies throughout the country. International governmental and business customers also use CMC’s locally produced products on nearly every continent. CMC produced products are used in local search missions, major national events such as hurricane Katrina; maintaining Mount Rushmore and the Golden Gate Bridge and swift water rescues in China.

After 36 growth-filled years in business, CMC Rescue is bringing its entire operation - administration, engineering, manufacturing, distribution, rescue school, and test lab - under one roof for the first time. Now equipped to serve its customers better than ever, CMC Rescue is proud of the fact that its locally manufactured products can be found on nearly every continent around the world.

Having recently purchased and fully renovated a Goleta office building, we are excited to open our world headquarter doors to our local community and business leaders; distinguished state and local politicians; the press and media and to our loyal customers.

CMC Rescue was founded in 1978 by search and rescue professional and lifelong Goleta resident, Jim Frank. ISO-9001-certified, and employee-owned since 2011, CMC Rescue takes pride in its position as a global leader in the training, research and development, design, testing, and manufacture of the world’s finest equipment for rescue and rope access.

Customers such as UCSB; California Polytechnic State University; city, county and state fire and police; and search and rescue teams, trust our equipment, technical knowledge and expert advice, and we are looking forward to hosting them in our new facility.

We cordially invite you to be a guest at our Open House, October 16, 2014, from 4:00-7:00pm. Please contact Annelise Blair at 805-456-7154, or email: to R.S.V.P..
