GOLETA, CA –The Goleta Valley Chamber of Commerce and The City of Goleta are excited to announce an economic development bus tour and keynote luncheon featuring Gurbax Sahota, President of CALED, the California Association of Local Economic Development. The event will be held Wednesday, April 8h with a bus tour from 10:30 a.m.-11:30 a.m., followed by a luncheon in the rotunda at Deckers Outdoor Corporation.
Attendees will enjoy a tour of economic development and capital improvement sites in Goleta including Cabrillo Business Park, Hollister Village and more. The luncheon will include a welcome from the Mayor of Goleta, comments from CEO of Deckers Outdoor Corporation, Angel Martinez, followed by, Gurbax Sahota, who will speak from a statewide perspective about economic development for the future.
