Food and wine go hand-in-hand so it’s not too surprising that one of California’s most popular Central Coast destinations inspired two local entrepreneurs to develop the
Santa Ynez Valley menuguide - a new print, digital and mobile resource that shows hungry travelers and residents just what’s one the menu.
Slated to debut this October, the Santa Ynez Valley menuguide is the brainchild
of Karen Davis and Pamela Childs who wanted to create a unique restaurant and wine guide dedicated to the local food and wine communities in the Santa Ynez Valley.
Davis a former insurance broker in Solvang who’s family has life-long ties to the Valley
and Childs, a marketing professional and travel magazine publisher, have been working for over a year on their new Santa Ynez Valley menuguide which includes sample menus from many of their favorite restaurants, bakeries and caterers along with the area’s most interesting wineries, breweries and tasting rooms.
The guide also spotlights local winemakers, chefs, recipes and Valley Happenings
and includes colorful gossip and photo features by resident personalities.
Published quarterly, the new Santa Ynez Vally menuguide is being distributed at high traffic locations from Solvang to Los Alamos and will also be placed in the rooms of the Valley’s top lodging establishments.
