GasBuddy today identifies the top cities where it is most likely for drivers to overpay for gas due to the wide ‘spread’ in prices.
Gas prices vary from street corner to street corner. But there are some cities where the difference between stations in town aren’t that different. However that is not that case in the City of Santa Barbara: the range is the wide, ranking #5 in the nation.
Right now Santa Barbara residents could pay $3.29/gallon or as high as $4.79; that is a a difference of $1.50/gallon.
Here is the complete list of the top cities with the widest price ranges, making you most susceptible to overpaying:
3.San Bernardino, CA
4.San Francisco, CA
5.Santa Barbara, CA
6.Lake Havasu-Kingman, AZ
10. Fresno, CA
