Santa Barbara, CA—April 10, 2015—Hillside House will be hosting a luncheon to honor staff with 20 years or more service to its residents. April 10 is also the 60th Anniversary of the dedication of its “new” facility in 1955. Located on Veronica Springs Road, Hillside House provides a home, therapeutic learning community and 24-hour nursing care for 59 people with developmental disabilities, making it the largest provider of these residential services in the Santa Barbara area.
Hosted by the Hillside House Friends and Families Group, Board members, staff and residents will gather to recognize major milestones in the life of Hillside House and its dedicated staff. Hillside House currently has 15 employees who have provided over 20 years of service, along with another 10 employees who have provided over 10 years of service. Lunch, brief remarks and certificates will be awarded in the garden area behind Hillside House’s main building, between the hours of 12:00 and 2:00 pm on Friday, April 10th.
