Innovative audience engagement tool premiers at
2015 Santa Barbara Earth Day
Oniracom, Santa Barbara’s premiere community-building agency, proudly announces the release of Storywall, its most innovative product to-date.
After high-profile vetting in 2014 by Jack Johnson and others, the platform returns to the Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival in 2015. A game-changer in customer interaction and acquisition, Storywall is a unique data-capture platform creating a new standard for engagement that has organizations in Santa Barbara jumping aboard.
One such group is the non-profit Community Environmental Council (CEC). They embraced the platform at their 2014 Santa Barbara Earth Day festival to help pump up engagement around five key environmental initiatives and to promote other festival events. Convinced by Storywall’s ability to dramatically increase attendee participation, CEC is bringing Storywall back for a second year to Santa Barbara Earth Day Festival’s 45th anniversary on April 18th and 19th. Festival-goers can use Storywall displays stationed around the park to catch up on the latest happenings, engage in custom contests and promotions, and see their social posts broadcast in real time on the big screen.
So what makes Storywall tick? Visually compelling messages displayed via screen or projection encourage viewers to participate in promotions, incentives, and other initiatives while simultaneously streaming real-time feeds of viewers’ photos, hashtags, and other content.
CEC is not alone in its adoration of Storywall. In 2014, Jack Johnson’s “From Here To Now To You” summer tour used Storywall on stage and at its non-profit vendor area, the Village Green, to significantly increase interactions such as new member registration, donations, and social media posts.
“Jack Johnson’s tour was an amazing proof of concept, showing that a big brand could easily implement Storywall at a different venue each night to increase engagement,” commented Jacob Tell, Oniracom CEO. “Over the course of his tour, audience participation in social campaigns increased over 90% compared to past years. Fans & touring crew alike were blown away!”
The Storywall platform works so well in part because it is agnostic, compatible with everything from Android and Apple mobile devices to consumer HDTV’s all the way up to giant LED video walls. What’s more, a seamless back end makes it simple for an organization to tailor the look, feel, and messaging of their Storywall to target specific brand objectives.
“The magic of Storywall is that it creates a truly unique engagement between the audience and the location–one that enhances the experience of the crowd, while at the same time creating user profiles, tracking interactions, and re-marketing to bring customers back,” states Tell. “It is the ultimate solution for closing the sales loop between a brick and mortar business and its customers.”
