KIWA INVESTMENT SUMMIT LAUNCHES IN ECUADOR JUNE 2015:

The Next Frontier of Sustainable Global Investment Announces Summit and Speaker Roster

With Latin America continuing to lead the way in key industry sectors related to sustainability, the opportunity for entrepreneurs in the region to build high impact companies based in environmental and social innovation is at an all time high. Per Organic Monitor, “The region has an 18 percent share, or 6.8 million hectares, of global organic farmland. More than $1 billion of organic products is exported from Latin America every year.” Further, according to The Guardian, “Latin America is becoming a global arena for green innovation as foreign companies head for the region to partner with a rapidly growing local clean technology sector.” To support the development of high growth, high impact Latin American entrepreneurs, this June 10th and 11th, the Kiwa Investment Summit will launch in Quito, Ecuador to bring together selected entrepreneurs with leading investors, world leaders, and growth experts from around the world.

The Kiwa Investment Summit curates high growth entrepreneurs with unique business models and differentiated products and services that generate financial, social, and environmental returns in Latin America. Selected entrepreneurs will be mentored and have the opportunity to engage experts and potential growth resources to support their continued expansion. The Kiwa Investment Summit has been built through a partnership between PRO ECUADOR, Kiwa, Christie Communications, The LOHAS Group, Impacto Quito, and the Clean Business Investment Summit as organizing partners. The organizers of the Kiwa Investment Summit have been successful producing and managing the Clean Business Investment Summit and the LOHAS Forum. Results from both have produced 575 new projects and ventures introduced with investors through their events, features companies that incorporate combinations of new technologies and innovative business development, and integrated dynamic panels and speeches by experts focused on creating synergies between entrepreneurs and investors.
