Enjoy a classic holiday tradition and set the mood for a stress-free gift giving season at the 22nd annual Santa Barbara Botanic Garden Holiday Marketplace. Generously sponsored by Perry Ford of Santa Barbara, the Marketplace will be held November 20, 21 and 22, from 10am to 4pm, with live music, family friendly activities and handcrafted gifts from over 30 artisans. Admission is free to shop. Proceeds support the Garden, a nonprofit dedicated to the rich diversity of California native plants.
New this year:
Santa’s Cottage featuring crafts, hot chocolate and surprise character visits, will be a great gathering place for the whole family.
Bring the little ones for story time at 12:30 on Friday and Saturday
Get your hands in the dirt, or let volunteers do the potting for you, as you design custom dish gardens with your choice of pot, plants and decorations.
Friday preview shopping is now open to the public! Come November 20th for the best selection of gifts and to beat weekend crowds.

As Garden Trustee Tom Craveiro points out, “where else can you enjoy a view of the Channel Islands from a bench with custom native plant mosaics created by artist Patti Jacquemain, and then walk down to the courtyard and buy a beautiful ornament created by the same artist?”

Marketplace admission is FREE and will go on rain or shine, as the artisan booths are conveniently located under a canopy in the courtyard. Please carpool as parking is limited.
