Pacific Pride Foundation is honored to announce the appointment of two new officers to its Board of Directors, Jane E. Russell and Marc Gelinas.
“We are thrilled to be bringing on two dedicated professionals from our Santa Barbara community” Colette Schabram, Executive Director of Pacific Pride Foundation, states. “Jane and Marc are outstanding in their fields and bring expertise on Board stewardship and practices as well as their passions for community service and budget compliance. They add dynamic elements to the Pacific Pride Foundation Board of Directors during an important time in the agency. We look forward to all they will do for the organization and the communities we serve.”
Jane E. Russell, CPA is an esteemed partner of MacFarlane, Faletti & Co. LLP. She specializes in small business and restaurant accounting and overseas the small business practice, including compilations and reviews as well as payroll, sales tax, 1099 preparation, and other financial filings. Jane holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from Clarion University of Pennsylvania. She is a member of AICPA, CSCPA, the American Society of Women Accountants, and MENSA. Jane is a long-time supporter of Pacific Pride Foundation and supports the Heart + Sole AIDS Walk annually with sponsorship contributions from MacFarlane, Faletti & Co. LLP and volunteers her time and accounting expertise at the registration booth during the walk. Jane was unanimously voted onto the board this September and begins her board work this October.
Marc Gelinas joined the Board of Directors in July. He has been an interior designer for 30 years and is the principal of his own interior design firm. Marc became actively involved in Pacific Pride Foundation 8 years ago when he moved to Santa Barbara. He is one of the founders of Pacific Pride Foundation Royal Ball and is the event’s Development Chair. In addition to his work with Pacific Pride Foundation, Marc has been active with HIV/AIDS organizations since the late 1980’s and is a past member of the Pratt Institute Board of Trustees.
