Wine + Beer & Santa Barbara Public Market Present the Stolpman Winemaker Dinner!

Wine + Beer and the Santa Barbara Public Market Host an Italian Inspired Harvest Winemaker Dinner with Stolpman Vineyards & Guest Chef Brian Dodero

Santa Barbara, CA., September – The end of summer signals one of the most exciting times for winemakers… it’s harvest season. To celebrate, Wine + Beer​ and the Santa Barbara Public Market​ continue their popular winemaker dinner series on Friday, September 18 at 6:00pm, with Chef Brian Dodero and Stolpman Vineyards. For this exclusive dinner Chef Dodero will prepare an Italian inspired harvest menu to pair perfectly with some of Stolpman’s most exceptional wines.
Growing up in the vineyard, Pete Stolpman watched the golden brush of the Stolpman Estate transform into rows of vines. After graduating from Georgetown University, Pete took a management job in Los Angeles before ultimately returning home to the Santa Ynez Valley to embark on a three year wine training program, now affectionately referred to as the “Master’s Degree by Tom Stolpman.” In 2009, Pete took over day-to-day management of Stolpman Vineyards. His wife, Jessica Stolpman, manages the California wholesale market and the newly constructed Villa Angeli, and the entire Stolpman crew agrees that Jessica has brought her formidably refined palate to the team. Together, Pete and Jessica have traveled on many wine research trips to broaden their understanding of international wines and continue to oversee the day-to-day management of Stolpman Vineyards.
Chef Brian Dodero is a Santa Barbara native with an extensive culinary background. After graduating in 2007 from Florence University of the Arts’ exclusive Apicius Culinary Arts program, Brian moved to New York City, where he worked in the kitchen of two of the city’s most well known Italian restaurants, Fiamma and Vento. He returned home to Santa Barbara and began working for Italian Chef Alessandro Cartumini at the elite Four Seasons Hotel. Most recently Chef Dodero was Executive Chef of The Pasta Shoppe Santa Barbara, where he shared an authentic taste of Italian cuisine with his fresh, handmade pasta and innovative dishes.
