CALL FOR VOLUNTEERS
805 WRITERS’ CONFERENCE IS LOOKING FOR VOLUNTEERS
(Ventura, CA – September 8, 2015) The 805 Writers’ Conference needs volunteers to help in a variety of positions for this year’s event, to be held Saturday and Sunday, October 31 & November 1 at the Crowne Plaze Hotel in Ventura. The event is open to the public and will host two days of educational seminars.
The Pacific Institute for Professional Writing, producer of the event, is asking for the public’s support by volunteering. As a nonprofit organization, the community’s involvement welcomed and appreciated. The Ventura County Writers Club (VCWC), Independent Writers of Southern California (IWOSC), Book Publicists of Southern California, the Small Publishers, Artists and Writers Network (SPAWN), the Women’s National Book Association are co-sponsors. Other sponsors include the Ventura County Star, Santa Barbara Independent, Suspense Magazine, and Ventura Visitors Bureau.
